The renovation of roads in forest zones has enhanced connectivity with the District Headquarters in Kawardha- Forest Minister Mr. Akbar

Forest Minister conducted the Bhoomipujan ceremony for the renovation of five roads, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 3 crore 78 lakh

Bhoomipujan ceremony was also held for the construction of the Chhirpani Reservoir Approach Road, which will be built at a cost of Rs. 2 crore

Raipur, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar conducted the Bhoomipujan of the renovation work of 5 roads, at a cost of Rs. 3 crore 78 lakh, for Kawardha Assembly Constituency during his visit to Kabirdham district.
 
Mr. Akbar said that old and damaged roads in forest zones will be renovated to simplify access to the District Headquarters for better connectivity. He said that construction work is being carried out regularly for the development of field areas, including forest zones. Bridge-culvert and C.C. road construction work is being undertaken to connect one village to another and facilitate easy access for villagers. He said that the repair of roads from Main Road to Bokkarkhar, Main Road to Navagaon Tiwari, Baturakachhar to Kodwa, Manjgaon to Saigona, and Chhotupara to Peepartola will facilitate smooth transportation for villagers and also relieve them from the problems faced during rains.
 
Mr. Akbar also conducted the Bhoomipujan for the construction of the Chheerpani Reservoir Access Road in Chhirpani village, under the Borla development block, at a cost of Rs. 200.13 lakh. He emphasized that the construction of roads, including the new Chhirpani water access route, is making transportation easier in Chhattisgarh. The extension of roads is also promoting tourism in the Kabirdham district, which is an ideal destination for tourists. By improving access to cities for villages located at the ends of forest zones, the construction of roads is further enhancing the region’s connectivity
